Discover the hundreds of ways paper is made and used by artists around the world. On July 7-11, visit Squares-Folds-Life: Contemporary Origami by Robert J. Lang
and examine how this amazing artist has made works of art by folding
single sheets of paper into complicated animals, plants and other
objects. Then visit To Live Forever: Egyptian Treasures from the Brooklyn Museum
to see how ancient Egyptians used the papyrus plant to make their own
paper thousands of years ago. Experiment with designing your own unique
works of art inspired by your gallery visits. Bring a sack lunch.
