Yes, there really is a “Scotty!” Scotty is now (at the time of this story) 33 and lives in Indianapolis with his wife Amy and soon-to-be-named unborn child. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Restaurant and Hospitality Association of Indiana. You may not see Scotty as often as you did in the early years. Scotty used to tend bar every Wednesday night in Muncie and every Friday night in Bloomington. With the addition of his 3rd and 4th restaurant, Scotty can only pull the occasional bar shift now. Most of his time is spent in marketing, design and new site selection for the company expansion. He is still very “hands on” and will visit each restaurant once a month to make sure his high standards of service, cleanliness and team work are still being met. If you are ever in a Brewhouse, ask for Scotty to come by your table, if he is in town, he will come shake hands and talk with you for awhile. The future of Scotty’s Brewhouse is limitless. We have not decided where our 5th location will be. We have begun scouting territory in South Bend, Ann Arbor, Columbus, and Madison, WI and even on the campus of North Carolina, in Chapel Hill. The magic of this company is to not set any parameters or limits. The sky is the limit and when opportunity comes knocking, Scotty will answer the door. So, if you are interested in financing, investing or even think you might have a suggestion for Scotty’s next location, send him an email: swise@scottysbrewhouse.com. Hope you get the opportunity to visit a Brewhouse near you someday soon. |

(May. 1 2008) We went on administrative professionals day for our AA. The food was great but the service was slow. I would credit that to it being super crowded there for lunch that day. Love the MoFo sauce! Offensive? |

(Apr. 30 2008) Great food and atmosphere. It tends to be crowded on the weekends and the wait can be long at times, but well worth the wait. Have to try the fried pickle chips! Offensive? |
