The Indiana History Center is located in the Indianapolis canal cultural district where visitors can enjoy many attractions nearby in White River State Park and participate in guided walking tours of this 1.5-mile long recreational corridor. There is no cost to visit the Indiana History Center; membership is not required. However, some programs do require a fee and IHS members receive discounts on programs and special events. When you plan your visit to the Indiana History Center, make sure you see all the wonderful things we have to offer.
