iMOCA will increase understanding and appreciation of the significance of contemporary visual culture within today’s society in Indiana and beyond. iMOCA will encourage the experience that art is all around us.

iMOCA will bring contemporary exhibitions and programs to our community to stimulate minds, inspire new discoveries and demonstrate the vital connections between visual culture and life.


how will we do it?
Build a coalition of artists, patrons and volunteers who seek inspiration through art.
Secure stable funding to support the facility and operational expenses.
Secure a site that is suitable to house staff, artifacts and exhibition space.
Acquire personnel expertise and institutional credibility to care for and mount semi-permanent and traveling exhibitions.
Seek partnerships locally, nationally and internationally for the purpose of mounting exhibitions and community building.
